Ever since I became aware of it, I, Narinder Singh Sunny, have been
deeply interested in social welfare. In trying to extend my interest in
social work in my home village of Dialgarh, I registered a charity under
the name Sahara Charitable Trust Dialgarh. The trust was established
by my own personal efforts, but today it has become a growing
concern. All of those involved have the chance to display their aptitude. Membership is not fixed. Anyone can become a |
member and provide services for the noble cause of social work. Public service is a true service. Unlike pilgrimage, public service is a real help to mankind.
The trust is not associated with any political party, religion, caste, colour, race, state,
etc. Anyone can become a member. We provide aid to the underprivileged, the physically handicapped, financial support for weddings of girls from poor families, and any other type of problem affecting the poor and needy. The trust also provides financial support for boys and girls requiring education but who do not have the financial means to study.
We also provide medical funding for any handicapped or injured people in need. The trust uses his funds to provide social services. Our trust is completely dependent on donations from the general public. Anyone from any part of the world can make a donation to help those in need supported by the trust.
We currently receive donations from several countries in Europe, Australia, Canada, America, and the Gulf countries. Some residents in these countries are also members and help those in need directly through the trust. No amount donated to the trust goes to waste. Anyone who has donated to the trust or any interested parties can request information about how the money is donated and spent, i. e. the work of the trust is completely transparent.
